About Auto Reset

About Auto Reset

The device remembers the insect capture positions. If most of the remembered positions no longer have insects, it is judged as abnormal and automatically resets.

How to Read the Graph

The insect capture trend graph displays the following lines:

  • Blue line: Sheet replacement (input via the web)

  • Red line: Auto reset

These lines allow you to visually check when sheet replacements or auto resets occurred.

Possible Causes of Abnormalities

Here are some possible causes of abnormalities. Please check and take appropriate action.

1) The sheet replacement button was not pressed after replacing the sheet

⇒ Please press the sheet replacement button when replacing the sheet

For instructions on how to replace the sheet, see Replacing the Insect Trap Sheet.

2) The sheet was moved

⇒ Please avoid moving the sheet

The insect trap camera remembers the capture positions, so if the sheet shifts, it may not count correctly.

3) The insect-attracting lamp is off

⇒ Please keep the insect-attracting lamp on at all times

If the lamp is off, insects may not be captured, which can be detected as an abnormality.

4) The camera lens is dirty

⇒ Please wipe the lens with a soft cloth

If the lens is dirty, insects may not be detected correctly.
