Can I use the insect trap camera in a vertical position?

We do not recommend using the insect trap camera in a vertical position.

Using it vertically may cause the following issues.

• Camera may fall
  Depending on how it is fixed, the insect trap camera may become unstable and fall.

• Misalignment of the insect trap sheet
  If the sheet is not held in the correct position, the trapping area may shift during photography,
  making it difficult to accurately track the increase using the ‘trap position memory’ function.

【If you must use it vertically】

If your environment requires vertical placement, please be sure to take the following safety measures.

• Securely fix the insect trap camera
  Use commercially available clamps or similar tools to firmly secure the device and ensure it does not wobble or fall.

• Prevent misalignment of the insect trap sheet
  If necessary, bend or tape the sheet to keep it in the correct position.

【Precautions when using clamps】

When securing the insect trap camera with clamps, note that there are protruding parts on the insect trap side. Please pay attention to the following points.

• Avoid the protruding parts when securing.

• If you forcefully secure the clamp to the protruding parts, the insect trap may be damaged.
