I received a heartbeat monitoring email. What should I do?
This means that regular information from the insect trap camera is not reaching this service (Pescle cloud server).
The main possible causes are listed below.
Insect trap camera failure
No power supply to the insect trap camera (unplugged)
Startup failure of the insect trap camera due to power outage or momentary interruption
LTE communication failure (network failure)
First, please check the status of the relevant insect trap camera in the ‘Project List’ on the website.
By checking the time when the last information was sent, you can determine when the abnormality started.
Next, please check each item in the FAQ ‘What should I do if the insect trap camera does not operate or an abnormality occurs?’ in order.
If the abnormality is not resolved, please contact us according to the procedure in ‘Response 4’.

Is regular cleaning of the insect trap camera necessary?
Regular cleaning is not necessary, but if there is dirt or fog in the photo data, please wipe the lens of the insect trap camera with a clean cloth.
Also, to improve the visibility of the photo data and the accuracy of AI results,
please wipe the insect-attracting lamp of the ESCO641 if there is dirt (such as insects or foreign matter).

When are photos taken by the insect trap camera?
Photos are taken at 00 minutes every hour.

What does the ‘red line’ shown in the insect capture trend graph mean?
The red line indicates when ‘auto reset’ was performed. For details, please refer to ‘About Auto Reset’ below.

What does ‘Display AI Results’ in the photo data mean?
This is a function that automatically counts the number of captured insects using AI, and you can switch between before and after AI diagnosis. The color differences on the photo data after AI diagnosis are as follows.
Red ▢: Insects newly captured in this hour
Orange ▢: Insects that were already captured
Gray ▢: Locations where insects were previously captured (or no insects detected this time)

Where can the insect trap camera be installed?
The insect trap camera is not waterproof, so please use it under the following conditions.
Use indoors only. Do not install in places with strong vibrations or strong/fast airflow.
Do not install in places where water droplets may fall, where there is high humidity, or where corrosion is expected.
The usage conditions are as follows.
Power supply: AC100V 50/60Hz (one outlet required)
Temperature: 5–35°C
Humidity: No condensation
Power consumption: Up to 12W
